Inquire

Because of its high precision, simple and convenient operation, and ability to both engrave and cut, CNC engraving machines are increasingly used in various fields, such as household decoration, mold processing, advertising, handicrafts and other industries. Since it is used in industrial production, the CNC engraving machine must have requirements for accuracy, so how to control the cutting quality and accuracy of the CNC engraving machine? Leapion laser shares are as follows:

As far as the cutting quality of the CNC engraving machine is concerned, the CNC milling machine can precisely control all the variables that affect how the tool cuts the material being processed.

There are many factors that affect the cutting quality of CNC engraving machines, such as:

1. The stiffness and accuracy of the frame

2. Control features

3. Accelerate and decelerate

4. Tool clamping and parts clamping

Mass alone tends to increase machining errors, because heavy moving parts carry more momentum and are more difficult to start and stop.

Conversely, a frame that is too light will generate more vibration and limit the load that can be applied. It is not the single feature of the machine that determines its quality, but the combination of all these features.

The cutting accuracy of a CNC engraving machine is a simple feature of CNC milling machines that needs to be measured, but simply comparing the cutting length with the programmed length does not provide a good assessment of the accuracy.

Regarding the accuracy of the CNC engraving machine:

1. Positioning accuracy

Absolute positioning accuracy refers to the ability to reach a point in space within a certain tolerance range. Whether measuring on a single axis or multiple axes, or whether a load is applied to the cutter head, the measured value will vary greatly. The measured value also depends on the position of the workpiece on the worktable. Different numbers can be obtained in different areas and the ball screw compensation table can be closed or completely missing.

The spatial accuracy mainly depends on the encoder resolution.

A high-quality, properly adjusted servo system can usually be positioned within plus or minus ten times the encoder resolution. Therefore, a system with 0.0005" resolution can only be expected to achieve a positioning accuracy of plus or minus 0.005" or 0.1 mm.

2. Repeatability

Repeatability is the ability to return to a point in space each time the program is executed. Just like absolute accuracy, repeatability can be measured on a single axis or multiple axes. On most systems, repeatability is always better than absolute positioning accuracy.

3. Predictability

Predictability is important in the business of cutting parts using computer-controlled equipment. No matter what program is running, we want the control part of the machine to work in the same way every time. A good controller will calculate many steps of the tool path in advance, and remind you or decide a different course of action when a problem is found.
