With the coming of winter, laser cutting machine is facing the test of severe cold. In case of improper use, the normal operation of the equipment will be affected, thus affecting the production progress of the customer; in case of serious use, the laser and water chiller will be damaged, causing unnecessary property loss to the customer. In order to avoid the above situations, customers are required to follow the following precautions when using the chiller in winter:
1、 When the ambient temperature of the equipment is between 0 ℃ and - 10 ℃, if the laser and water chiller stop working (such as power failure) and no antifreeze is added, the water in the water system must be drained in time, and the water in the laser shall be drained with compressed air or nitrogen, and the water in the water pump and pipeline of the water chiller shall be drained manually. In the working state, the chiller will not cause equipment freezing and damage;
2、 The ambient temperature of laser cutting machine shall not be lower than - 10 ℃;
3、 The ambient temperature of laser chiller must be above 0 ℃. The main reason is to prevent the low ambient temperature, especially in northern cities. Once the laser chiller is stopped, the water in the water system will freeze, which will affect the normal use of the equipment. If it is serious, the whole refrigeration system will be damaged.
4、 Inspection points and treatment methods for opening laser chiller in winter:
1、 After starting the cooling water pump of the chiller and the normal temperature (external light path) water pump, check the readings of the cooling water pressure gauge and the normal temperature water pressure gauge. In case of pressure or flow alarm, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the valve of waterway system is not opened or there is possibility of icing, and timely judge and handle. If it is confirmed that it is frozen, please contact the laser technician of leapion in time to deal with it. Do not solve it by yourself!
2. After the normal operation of the water pump, if the water temperature of the cooling water is lower than the minimum temperature that the laser machine is allowed to start, it cannot be heated up for a long time. The set temperature of cooling water and normal temperature water can be set as 5 ℃ higher. For other problems, please refer to the manual or notify the maintenance personnel. Finally, the set temperature of cooling water and normal temperature water must be adjusted to the specified set temperature (generally, the set temperature of cooling water is 20-25 ℃, and the set temperature of normal temperature water is 25-35 ℃).
5、 Drainage method:
1. Water tank drainage method: open the drain valve at the lower part of the water tank to drain the water in the water tank. If necessary, tilt the water cooler to a certain angle to make the drain port the lowest point. Drainage in the pipeline: blow compressed air or nitrogen (air pressure is about 5bar) from the inlet and outlet of low-temperature water and high-temperature water for about one minute respectively, and drain water from the outlet of water tank;
2. Drainage method of laser: after the water pipe is disconnected, use compressed air or nitrogen (air pressure is about 5bar) to aim at the water inlet and outlet to blow water for about one minute, and drain the water inside the laser;
3. Drainage method of optical fiber laser cutting machine: use compressed air inlet and outlet to blow for 2 minutes.
