  The three-dimensional cutting of steel pipe needs to have a good grasp and control of the cutting groove. Therefore, in the numerical control cutting industry, the cutting of steel pipe has always been a comprehensive reflection of the industry's technical level. With the rapid growth of China's metal pipe production and consumption, the rapid popularization of laser cutting equipment for pipes, the rapid growth of CNC cutting talents and laser cutting technology demand, also highlights the serious shortage and lag of CNC laser cutting equipment and CNC cutting talents and technology. This leads to low cutting efficiency, poor cutting quality and serious waste of pipes. This paper will introduce and analyze the main technical problems of the laser tube cutter, and provide a targeted solution.

  1. Full stroke automatic laser cutting and blanking of large length metal pipe For the technological requirements of full stroke automatic laser cutting and blanking of large length metal pipes, the unique double drive pneumatic chuck rotating mechanism (driving shaft W, driven shaft W1) is adopted in the mechanical structure, the left driving shaft w pneumatic chuck rotating mechanism is fixed, the pipes are clamped, the pipes are cut and processed through the movements of X, y and W of the machine tool, and the right driven shaft W1 pneumatic chuck rotating mechanism is adopted It can move along the axial direction of the workpiece with the worktable, and realize the full stroke automatic laser cutting and blanking of large length metal pipe.

  2. CNC cutting technology CNC cutting technology refers to the cutting control software of CNC system to provide advanced cutting technology and rich cutting experience, so that cutting operators can achieve high quality and high efficiency CNC cutting through skilled use of the control system. Numerical control cutting is a kind of pipe cutting production mode with large batch, high efficiency and high quality. The core of numerical control cutting is numerical control cutting system.

  At present, there are some quality problems in the cutting process of the laser cutting machine, such as the over burning of the part's leading cutting point, the over burning of the part's corner, the inclination of the cutting surface, and the deformation or non closure of the circle when cutting the round part, which directly lead to the serious waste of the pipe and the low efficiency of the cutting production.

  3. Because of the high cutting efficiency and the more complicated programming of the CNC laser cutting machine, if it is not used properly, it will result in the waste of pipes and low cutting efficiency. Through the professional pipe cutting and nesting software, the drawing, nesting and blanking are programmed in advance on the computer to generate NC cutting program, and then the full stroke automatic laser cutting and blanking of large length metal pipes are carried out. The professional pipe nesting software is the foundation and prerequisite for the realization of large-scale, high-efficiency and high-quality cutting production of CNC pipe cutting machine.

  4. In pipe cutting process, due to pipe cutting (especially for square pipe with small diameter), slag is attached to the inner wall of the pipe, and most of the heat generated by cutting is absorbed by the workpiece. When the cutting density is large, the pipe is often overheated, the corners and four corners of the square pipe are burned, which seriously affects the quality of the incision, and even cannot be cut. For such problems:

  (1) The height sensor servo system of laser cutting head can ensure that the height between cutting nozzle and workpiece surface remains unchanged (the focus remains unchanged) during the cutting process, so that the cutting effect is not affected by the change of workpiece surface;

  (2) Method of increasing oxygen pressure (6-8mpa);

  (3) The speed of sharp angle synthesis is improved by software.
