Fiber laser cutting machine chiller daily maintenance

The temperature control of the fiber laser cutting machine is completely dependent on the chiller. As a circulating water equipment, the chiller is responsible for cooling the laser and the cutting head. It is an important part of the fiber laser cutting machine. In order to ensure the stable operation of the fiber laser cutting machine, we also need to regularly maintain the chiller.

Daily maintenance:

1. Regularly clean the heat sink. The method of cleaning is to carefully brush the heat sink with a brush, and then blow it clean with compressed air. If necessary, clean and rinse with special air conditioner fin cleaning agent (commonly known as polyester dust).

2. Regularly remove dust from the condenser (the method is the same as above).

3. Regularly check the water level in the water tank of the chiller. If the water level is too low, add pure or deionized water in time.

4. Regularly check the wiring terminals of electrical appliances and remove dust (must be powered off).

5. Regularly check whether the joints in the waterway system are leaking and whether the pipeline is aging. If there is any leakage, the related components should be replaced in time.

6. The water inside the chiller needs to be replaced regularly, the general replacement frequency is one month. Long-term use of laser cutting machine chillers will cause scale formation when the water quality is reduced, which will block the waterway and cause the water flow to decrease, reducing the cooling effect, so regular replacement of water is treated as the primary issue. Regularly check the water quality in the water tank of the chiller. If the quality of the cooling water becomes worse, turbid, and the transparency drops, all the deteriorated cooling water should be released in time and replaced with new cooling water. Distilled water should be selected as much as possible, and deionized water can be selected if there are no conditions. Various manufacturers have requirements for water quality, remember to meet the requirements, otherwise the water quality will not cause the internal fouling of the laser after long-term use.

7. Regularly clean the impurities on the filter element of the fiber laser cutting machine chiller. If the filter element is damaged, it should be replaced in time. The replacement filter element must use the standard filter element required by the manufacturer.
