2. Fiber laser cutting head

3. Numerical control system

The CNC control system is the dominant operating system of the fiber laser cutting machine, which mainly controls the machine tool to realize the movement of the X, Y, and Z axes, and also controls the output power of the laser. Its quality determines the stability of the operating performance of the fiber laser cutting machine. Through software control, the cutting effect can be improved.

4. Motor

The motor of the laser cutting machine is the core component of the motion system. The performance of the motor directly affects the effect of product processing and production efficiency. At present, the commonly used motors are stepper motors and servo motors. The configuration is based on the industry type and product type of the cutting object.

A. Servo motor

Servo motor refers to the engine that controls the operation of mechanical components in the servo system, and is an auxiliary motor indirect speed change device.

The servo motor can control the speed and position accuracy very accurately, and can convert the voltage signal into torque and speed to drive the control object.

The high-quality servo motor can effectively ensure the cutting accuracy, positioning speed and repeat positioning accuracy of the laser cutting machine.

Servo motor features: high motion, stable motion, high load, stable performance, smooth edges of processed products, high cutting speed. But its price is also high, and it is suitable for industries and products with high cutting requirements.

B. Stepper motor

The stepping motor has high starting speed and sensitive response, which is suitable for cutting with low requirements. The price is lower. Moreover, there are many brands of stepper motors with different performances.

5. Rack

Fiber laser cutting machines have very high requirements for machine stability. At present, the mainstream racks on the market include gantry type, cantilever type, beam type, etc. and different racks have different functions. For example, beam-type racks are mainly used for material cutting by large manufacturers. There are also models for specific fields, such as three-dimensional fiber laser cutting, which are mainly used in the automotive industry.

6. Lens

Fiber laser cutting machines have many kinds of lenses, such as total reflection lenses, semi-reflection lenses, focusing lenses, laser lenses and so on. Different lenses have different functions. The quality of the lens directly affects the output power of the laser, and also affects the performance of the entire fiber laser machine.

7. Other important parts

1) Chiller

Used to cool the laser generator. The cooling water takes away the excess heat to keep the laser generator working normally. The chiller also cools the light path mirror and focusing mirror outside the machine tool to ensure a stable beam transmission quality and effectively prevent the lens from being deformed or broken due to excessive temperature.

2) Gas supply system

The gas supply system of fiber laser cutting machine mainly includes gas source, filter device and pipeline. Among them, there are two kinds of air sources: bottled air and compressed air. The gas cylinders include working medium gas cylinders and auxiliary gas cylinders for laser cutting machines, which are used to supplement the industrial gas for laser oscillation and supply auxiliary gas for the cutting head.

3) The main machine part of the machine tool

The machine tool part of the fiber laser cutting machine is the mechanical part that realizes the movement of the X, Y, and Z axes, including the cutting work platform. It is used to place the workpiece to be cut, and can move it accurately and accurately according to the control program, usually driven by a servo motor.
