As we all know, the laser is one of the most important core components of the laser cutting machine, and its importance is self-evident. A laser is a device that converts electrical energy into light energy, and its internal structure is relatively complex, involving multiple disciplines and fields such as light, mechanics, electricity, and arithmetic. Below Leapion Laser shares the precautions for maintaining the laser during the daily use of the laser cutting machine.
1) Before starting the machine every day, carefully check the pressure of the laser working gas and cutting auxiliary gas. If the gas pressure is not enough, it should be replaced in time.
2) Check that the cooling water pressure is maintained between 3.5 and 5 Bar.
3) Check the temperature of the cooling water, the temperature of the water required by the selected laser is better.
4) Check the oil level in the laser vacuum pump. If it is not enough, add it.
5) Check whether the laser oil circuit, water circuit, and gas circuit are leaking, and whether the pneumatic components and pipe joints of the vacuum pump and resonant cavity are leaking.
1) Check whether there is oil or water in the gas mixing unit of the laser. If there is, clean it up in time; check the gas drying filter of the laser. If more than 1/4 of the color becomes red or white, it needs to be replaced. The normal color is blue .
2) Check the filter of the chiller for impurities.
3) Check the laser cooling water circuit for impurities.
4) Check the condensate water level in the compressed air separator (located in the air source unit).
5) Check the oil level of the vacuum pump (located under the air supply unit). When the pump is in cold state, the oil level should be between +5mm-0mm of the middle line of the oil window, and refuel when necessary.
1) Check whether there is corrosion in the cooling water pipeline of the laser head of the laser. If there is any corrosion, deal with it or replace the pipeline in time.
2) Check whether the fuel tank of the excitation power supply is leaking.
3) Check whether the high-voltage cable is damaged.
4) Check and clean the inside of the laser cavity and all lenses, including front window mirrors, tail mirrors, reflectors, etc.
5) After the internal lens of the laser is cleaned, the light output mode of the laser should be readjusted until the correct mode is reached.
6) Replace the vacuum pump oil.

Ways to prevent icing
1) Keep the water cooler and laser in an environment with a temperature above 0 degrees Celsius.
2) Keep the laser and water cooler always on.
3) Add antifreeze: the addition ratio is 3:7 (3 is antifreeze, 7 is water), after adding antifreeze, it can resist -20℃ without freezing.
1) Water tank drainage method: Open the drain valve at the bottom of the water tank to drain the water in the water tank. If necessary, tilt the water cooler to a certain angle.
2) Drainage in the pipeline: Blow compressed air from the inlet and outlet of low-temperature water and high-temperature water for 1 minute respectively, and drain the water from the drain port of the water tank.
3) Open the water tank cover to observe whether there is any residual water in the water tank. If there is, tilt the chiller slightly to make the water run out or use a dry towel to soak up the water.
4) Water pump head drain: turn on the pump head drain switch to drain the water in the pump, and then tighten the drain switch.
1) Let go of the water in the laser, cutting head and pipeline.
2) Do not put the water of the water cooler, the water outlet of the water cooler is directly connected to the water return, and the internal circulation of the water cooler can prevent freezing and ensure normal use.
Notice:
1) Excessive pressure of the gas used for drainage may damage the laser.
2) All cooling water in the laser, laser output head, processing head and chiller must be drained cleanly to effectively protect the entire set of water-cooling pipelines and related components!
Workers must first sharpen their tools if they want to do their best.
