The laser welding equipment uses the pulsed laser source with a wavelength of 1080nm generated by the laser to radiate the surface of the workpiece after beam expansion, reflection and focusing. The surface heat diffuses to the interior through heat conduction, and the width, energy, peak power, and repetition of the laser pulse are precisely controlled by digitalization. Frequency and other parameters can melt the workpiece and form a specific molten pool, to realize laser welding of the workpiece and complete the precision welding that cannot be achieved by traditional technology.

There are many precautions for operating laser welding equipment. If the mechanical equipment is improperly protected and operated due to the unsafe behavior of people or the unsafe state of the equipment, it May cause personal injury. The following is a brief introduction to the safe operation precautions of laser welding equipment from Leapion Laser:

(The picture here is of the person holding the laser source)

Step.1

Turn on the external circulating water switch machine before operating the laser welding equipment, and make sure that the dust cover on the laser output head has been removed before emitting light.

Step.2

Operate in strict accordance with the order of switching on and off the machine. After turning on the main power switch, turn on the key switch, otherwise, it may cause injury due to uncontrollable laser beams.

Open machine sequence - main switch - emergency stop switch

Shutdown machine sequence - emergency stop switch - master switch

Step.3

When using it for a long time, pay attention to installing a dust collector at the laser output end to avoid too much dirt on the lens and causing damage to the lens. According to the situation clean, the protective lenses with lens tissue or cotton swabs dipped in alcohol.

Step.4

The output laser of the equipment is a class IV laser, Laser protective goggles must be worn when you operate the machine. Do not directly touch the cleaning or welding workpiece with your hands to avoid burns caused by the excessive temperature of the workpiece.

Step.5

It is forbidden to directly point the hand-held cleaning head or welding head at yourself or others, handle it gently and do not bump it. Do not twist, bend, squeeze, or step on the hand-held cleaning head or welding head connecting the wire to avoid damage to the laser source.

Step.6

When the laser welding equipment is working, the circuit is in a state of high voltage and strong current. It is forbidden to touch the live parts of the machine when it is turned on to avoid safety accidents.

Step.7

Do not place flammable and explosive materials on the laser light path or around the equipment to avoid fire, explosion, and other dangerous accidents

Step.8

In the process of operating the equipment, if the machine is abnormal or encounters an emergency (water leakage, abnormal sound from the laser source, etc.) and the power supply of the whole machine needs to be cut off immediately, you can press the 'EMERGENCY' red button on the upper left side of the main panel to shut down and stop using it. Under any circumstance, if the red light is abnormally forbidden to emit the laser!
