How to inspect laser tube?

Laser tube don’t work, Some reasons will cause laser tube no light:

the laser tube in low quality

Laser tube supply

Control cable and power lines

How to handle:

Check the laser tube if is in good condition good appearance and no broken points.

short connect PG,the laser tube supply and laser tube are both good condition if it generated laser light. Then we can confirm the question point is at cable lines.

Remove the terminal block of signal as below the pic.

Check if the positive pole have feedback while press the TEST button.

It would be good condition if the positive pole changed.

Check the connected lines between laser tube supply and laser tube both ends.

Measure the voltage Y2 of main board while machine engraving if don’t have light with engraving.

Below are the measure standard:

Normal:

G and IN :0-5V,H(high level) depends on the power that is different.

G and L:0.0-0.9V, L(low level)

Unnormal:

G and IN:0V, H(high level) depends on the power that is different

G and L:5V, H(high level)

We have to make sure the parameters and standard specifications are in good condition!

Switch off the machine power, then remove the lines between laser tube supply and mainboard (Y2 terminal block).

Get the red positive pole to touch the sheet metal and short connection LPG on the lser tube supply.

Switch on the machien power, the laser tube supply would be good condition if the red positive pole generated light.

The laser tube had problems, and keep in safe distance because the machine will make people shock.
